Name: Rafiki

Roleplayer: Narifia

History: ***After the end of The Lion King 2, the events which preceed this roleplay (Narifia's journey to find her heritage/the revival of the Outlanders) play out and Rafiki is left in the middle of two worlds he deeply cherishes. He remains the loyal shaman of the Pridelands, however he gives visits and aid to the Outlanders, Teikan, and even the Graveyard Clan whenever possible.

The neutrality between the Pridelands and the Outlands hangs delicately in the balance, and Rafiki knows that the time will come when the balance will tip and chaos will ensue. Rather than choosing sides, he knows that he will have to step aside from any future conflict, and simply aid those that need it. He is growing increasingly older, and it is becoming apparent to him that he soon will no longer have the strength nor the will to continue his work. Secretly, he seeks a new apprentice.

Name: Sarabi

Roleplayer: Narifia

History: Sarabi has mixed feelings about the creation of the new Outlander pride. On the one paw, she watched Narifia grow up in the Pridelands alongside her great-grandchildren Morobi and Leah, and she had always been fond of the cub, despite the eerie feeling she always had due to Narifia's uncanny resemblance to Zira. However, now that Narifia has left to apparently follow in the paw-steps of Scar and Zira, Sarabi fears the path that Narifia will choose in pursuing her birthright.

In a way, Sarabi feels betrayed that Narifia would choose the path of her villainous parents by blood, whom she'd never even truly met, over Sarafina and the Pridelanders who raised and sheltered the helpless cub practically from birth. She feels equally betrayed that Narifia would drag Morobi, her great-grandson and a part of the royal bloodline, off with her to found an entirely new Outlander pride. Sarabi also can't help but feel ominously wary of the fact that Narifia would join forces with The Four--Zira's most loyal and dedicated pride members who refused to join the Pridelands after Zira's apparent death.

It all spells out an ill omen for Sarabi, who lived through two major wars in her lifetime; one with the treacherous Scar who murdered her husband and employed the help of the villainous Graveyard Hyena Clan to take control of the Pridelands, and one with his "widowed" mate Zira who sought only revenge and the throne of the Pridelands for her son Kovu. No, nothing good could ever come out of a new Outlander pride forming. Not even with the kind-hearted Narifia as its queen.
