Military Simulation Pictures

So a few days ago, about last week, I was at a military simulation event. It was going to be a 36 hour continuous engagement with "armies" of 500 people each. I was stationed in Army Alpha, Platoon 2, Squad 1. That would have been great if a small "blizzard" hadn't rolled through. Because of that it turned out to be only 30 on 30 and a special group of Opfor, and due to an AO change was only 20 hours. Regardless I had fun and it was a great experience. The end "scores" or points we got for holding objectives and completing missions was 1500 Alpha to 2000 Bravo, one objective. We took pictures before the engagement but during and after my teams phones died. but here are a few pictured that my team and I took before that point.

Woah, pretty cool xD Looks like quite an experience! I've never taken any kind of ROTC/JROTC courses in my time (though my brother has), so I've never had any kind of military experience before. Was it rough? Seems like it would be, especially in the middle of a blizzard.

And now for my completely arbitrary random guess: Are you the guy on the left in the Bacon Breakfast picture?

It was an experience. It was really rough though, with only one mre and the temperature dropping to about 10 degrees not including windchill. Am I glad that I went ya, did I enjoy the cold, not so much xP. I actually was out for about an hour to try and warm up by a fire they had going near my command post so that I could run.

As for your guess I'll pm you is you guessed right or not so that others can still guess.
