Welcome to the forum, Summer! ^_^ Application accepted You can go ahead and post your OCs in a thread called "Summer's Gen 1 Characters" in the Generation 1 sub-board. After that, you can go ahead and start posting as your OCs! ^_^

You can start a new thread in the Pridelands if you want, or you can start a new thread in Kube, The Waterhole, or Rafiki's Baobab (or, if you're really daring, the Elephant Graveyard xD). You can also hop into "Refreshing Silence" in the Waterhole if you don't want to start a new thread yet.

The only threads you can't post in right now are "Dinnertime Conversations" and "A Matter of Business [ For Kai ]" because they're full. You can hop in anywhere else though

Name of Canon Character: Zazu

Roleplaying Sample:

Just another normal day at Pride Rock. Zazu perched on a rock that jutted out from the entrance to the cave within Pride Rock, watching the sunrise. He hadn't had much time to relax recently, and he was getting on in years. He had served Mufasa faithfully, though the King had died tragically at a rather young age. Just thinking about it made him shudder.

Then there had been the incident with Simba as a cub. The young King had vanished, as if dead, but no body could be found. That had caused more worry to the rest of them. Until Scar proved to be a King in it for himself. The time he spent trapped in the ribcage of whatever animal it was from! What a disaster that had been...

Once Simba had returned, though, everything else did the same. The Pridelands returned to normal, and the gazelles, deer, zebra, and other creatures returned. Nala had brought the Prince-King back to Pride Rock. For that, everyone had been greatful, even though few realized it was her doing.

Now, Kovu, the Outlander cub, had proven his worth to the Pridelanders by saving Princess Kiara on more than one occasion. He was to be King, and a good one at that.

Zazu's thoughts were broken when he heard a voice call out to him.

"You're up early Zazu."

It was Simba's voice.

"Reminiscing, sire," Zazu said simply. "And hoping that I will be spared from becoming a target for pouncing lessons." This made Simba laugh, remembering the day Mufasa had Simba pounce on Zazu when he was giving the morning report. "I must admit, sire, I had my doubts about you becoming King, but it seems like your time away from Pride Rock was the best thing for you." He opened his wings and lifted up on a gust of wind. "I will speak with you next with the morning report, sire!" he called before flying off.
