The Teikan Clan is a peaceful group of hyenas, but they are by no means a clan of pushovers. Akida-khan, a stern, no-nonsense matriarch known for her enjoyment and skill in combat, leads the group. Her mate Boko's extreme pacifistic ways helps to find a balance for ruling the Clan. Although of course, as a male, he has no real power, Akida-khan just trusts his advice.
Akida-khan and Boko have four sons and a daughter, who happens to be a lioness. Shetani was found as a cub and Akida decided that she would stay. Not every Clan member was happy with this decision, so there are some disgruntled hyenas among the clan who could be trouble for Akida in the future.
